Manager/Director, Digital Lab Solutions

Your contribution
This position provides commercial responsibility for new product verticals in digital sales. The ideal candidate will drive and own relationships with key accounts from sales to customer success, establishing relationships of trust and enabling sustainable SaaS sales cycles. As the leader of a team of Digital Sales & Application Specialists in the US, this position will directly drive the implementation of programs aimed at optimizing commercial uptake of all Tecan's Digital products. This position will collaborate closely with the Head of the Digital Life Sciences Business to ensure constant alignment with Tecan's Digital Strategy. This is a true opportunity for you with tremendous growth potential at the position level and team size expansion.
Your background
- BS degree in Life Sciences or equivalent is desired; a Master of Business Administration preferred
- Professional experience includes 7years (minimum), including previous experience as a Sales leader and/or National Sales Director to Life Science laboratories
- Proficient understanding and well-established connection network in the Life Sciences industry
- Relevant experience in Enterprise selling (at senior C/C-1 level) across Life Science Biotech/ Pharma
- Proven track record in leading sales teams and achieving sales targets
- Understanding of SaaS sales models and consultative sales
- Relevant experience as a sales leader in the SaaS space, preferred
- Relevant business development experience
- Previous lab experience
- Proven ability and mindset in building new teams
- Ability to manage and develop sales territories while also managing costs and risks
- Demonstrated ability to manage people, to develop organizations, and to solve business issues while also managing costs and risks

- Ability to effectively communicate (orally and in writing) both technical and non-technical topics
