Job Description
The candidate must have AAMA or AMT National Certification or Registration.
Duties include greeting patients, assessing patient condition, taking vitals (blood pressure, weight, temp), conducting EKG, documenting records, filing records, and taking patients to exam rooms. Talk with patients and family members concerning medical problems via telephone and document record. Maintain cleanliness of equipment and exam rooms.
Must have a strong clinical background including knowledge of medical abbreviations such as BID and TID (see attachment). Excellent communication skills and computer skills required. Cardiology experience and knowledge of cardiac drugs a plus. Knowledge of EPIC electronic charting a plus.
