Benefits

SRA recognizes that employees are our most important asset. We want to help you succeed at home and in life, and our benefits program reflects our long-term commitment to you. Designed to address all stages of life, our benefits cover traditional areas and beyond with advantages like on-staff nursing care, flexible work time and public transportation allowance.

While some benefits differ by job locations, business unit and personal situation, here is a sample of our offerings.

General Benefits

Along with competitive salaries, our comprehensive benefits package includes paid time off, tuition reimbursement for education and training, medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) deferred savings plan with SRA contributions, employee stock purchase program and incentive and bonus programs. We also offer free parking, a $75 public transportation allowance for those who qualify, and company-sponsored events and sports.

Paid Leave

Employees accrue personal leave per year which can be used for vacation, personal holidays and for family or personal illness. Unused leave is cumulative.

Tuition Assistance program

We pay for job-related college courses, with reimbursement based on grades. Employees earning an A get 100% reimbursement; B's earn 80%. We will not reimburse employees for a C at the graduate level, but will pay 60% of the tuition for undergraduates. SRA also covers books and academic fees.

Health, Dental and Vision Insurance

SRA provides health care and dental insurance through a Preferred Provider Network. The PPO lets you choose from a wide range of doctors, with small co-payments and no forms to submit. Preventive care includes annual physicals and well-baby check-ups. Our prescription coverage lets you purchase generic prescription drugs for $7.50 and brand names for $15. You can also order long-term prescriptions through the mail. Additionally, SRA offers a vision PPO with low co-pays for routine vision exams and lenses. For our retired military population, SRA provides a TRICARE Supplement benefit in lieu of the medical PPO. SRA also offers an employee assistance program and administers a flexible spending account that pays for uninsured health expenses with pre-tax dollars.

Other Insurance

SRA offers free disability and life insurance, as well as business travel accident insurance.

Retirement Savings

SRA encourages employees to contribute a tax-deferred portion of their income to a 401(k) plan, including mutual funds managed by Fidelity Investments. SRA pays all administrative costs. Company contributions to an employee's 401(k) account are subject to a three-year graded vesting schedule.

Training

We provide quality training programs throughout our employees' career development. Using a variety of instructional techniques and technologies, we help employees refine their skills, grow their knowledge and support the goals of SRA and its customers.

Benefits differ from location to location, but may include:

  • Major Medical, Vision & Prescription Insurance

Life at SRA

SRA is a place where employees work on projects of global significance. We are passionate about our clients and their success. We offer employees career opportunities that make a difference in the world by applying sophisticated technologies, creative solutions and strategic thinking to complex challenges.

For 30 years, SRA has built a business based on making the world safer, healthier and more resourceful. Our team of more than 7,000 professionals serves clients in national security, civil government and global health. They travel around the world to offer expertise when and where it's needed. Whether they're providing advanced communications technology to the Department of Defense or helping developing countries build high quality health and education services, our employees are dedicated to their mission.

Along with the important work we do globally, SRA promotes social and environmental consciousness at home. Employees can participate in diverse community causes through SRA CARES, our Community Action, Responsibility, Education and Services (CARES) Committee. We also encourage environmental responsibility through Go Green, a corporate-wide campaign to reduce SRA's environmental footprint.

At SRA, we encourage employees to chart their own careers. While we will look to fill specific job openings, we hire people for their skills, talents and potential. Employees can work as an individual performer, a team member, or team leader -- and your role may vary from project to project. We'll gently push you to refine your skills and broaden your horizons. As your capabilities grow, new challenges will evolve and the possibilities are unlimited. We also offer you opportunities to advance. Most of our executives were promoted from within the company; some have worked here since they were fresh out of college.

We know that ultimately, employees want to enjoy what they do, make meaningful contributions, receive fair compensation and have the opportunity to grow. We work hard to make that happen. It's why we've been recognized by FORTUNE Magazine as one of the "100 Best Companies to Work for" for nine consecutive years.

Our success is grounded in the core values we have embraced since our beginning: an ethic of honesty and service; quality work and customer satisfaction; and caring about our people. We never want to stop growing, learning and improving. Our aspiration is to be the world's best company in everything we do. It's a lofty goal and one that we strive to achieve every day.
