The Hitachi Energy Grid Integration, North America POWER SQUARED Early Career Development Program is an elite opportunity for emerging future leaders to fast track their career while leveraging their engineering background. Your Responsibilities

  • Learn about the Grid Integration industry, products, competitors, and operations including our functions.  

  • Immerse yourself in our Sustainability programs because when it comes to safety, on time delivery, cost of poor quality, zero truly is the goal for our Hitachi Energy Grid Integration. 

  • Be an open learner, rotating through assignments focused on exposing you to the fundamentals of operational excellence through direct experiences with Quality, Supply Chain, Project Management, Engineering and Services. 

  • Challenge yourself to drive change and deliver outcomes through your contributions in your action learning project each rotation. 

  • Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams during the order acquisition phase to understand the needs of the customer and support the proposal process to meet those needs. 

  • See first-hand how strategic actions to properly balance sales planning with sound inventory management leads to great operational and financial outcomes.

Your Background:

  • Senior undergraduate engineering with preferred concentrations in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial, with an anticipated graduation date of May 2024 

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 

  • The right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, now or in the future 

  • Desire to develop business and leadership skills and work on operational projects. 

  • Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 
  • Demonstrated strong organization and work/project planning skills 
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Self-motivated and effective collaborator
